DR LAURA WIDYANTO

Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society; Counsellor; Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

At Inner Wealth, she serves through our signature programme, Inner Billionaire Legacy.

As a Chartered Psychologist accredited by the British Psychological Society, I am deeply committed to understanding and nurturing the mind’s intricate layers. My practice is rooted in a personalized approach because I believe the journey to mental well-being is as unique as the individual. My range of therapeutic toolkit draws from hypnotherapy, analytical psychology, counselling, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, ensuring a bespoke experience for each of my clients.

At the heart of my professional ethos is the conviction that mental health is as vital as physical health, and my mission is to break down barriers to mental health services. With Maja Healing (which is collaborating with Inner Wealth), I’ve had the privilege of leading Maja Care; our social corporate responsibility program dedicated to the provision of mental health support. Through Maja Care, we offer therapy on a donation basis to Indonesians who would otherwise face barriers to these crucial services.

My journey has been as diverse as the approaches I use, having spent 23 years in the UK where I honed my skills in health promotion and disease prevention with the National Health Service (NHS) and various local government bodies. It was within these roles that I engaged deeply with advocacy work; addressing critical issues such as domestic violence, maternal health, and smoking cessation.

These experiences have solidified my understanding of mental health’s pivotal role in overall well-being. They have reinforced my dedication to not only treat but also advocate for mental health with the same determination typically reserved for physical health.

In 2017, I returned to Bali, bringing with me a wealth of experience and dedication to improving the mental health and wellbeing of as many people as possible. I am committed to empowering people I work with to find their own path to healing and wholeness. This belief is the cornerstone of my practice and fuels my work with all my clients. I seek to continue to apply my international experience and passion for health equity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and the broader community. With every person I meet, I strive to provide a sanctuary for growth, healing, and the rediscovery of inner strength, reaffirming my pledge to cultivate wellness in every form.
