People are fascinated by billionaires. What if th

People are fascinated by billionaires.
What if there is another kind of billionaire to aspire to become with the inner wealth that we all already have access to?
I use the term, “inner billionaire” purposefully, provocatively and playfully to get people thinking in fresh ways about wealth and aspirations.
The root word of wealth is "weal" which means wellbeing but we have fallen so far from this as a species. Inner wealth brings us back to the roots and deepens that, for it contributes to collective wellbeing, not only personal wellbeing.
Inner wealth emerges when we are in deep connection with themselves, others and life through five key pathways:
be, love, serve, grow, play.
"Inner billionaire" doesn't refer to an exclusive group of perfect people. We all have an inner billionaire within us. It’s a humbling journey to discover and grow ourselves and realise this potential within.

When we regularly connect with others who want to grow into better humans and contribute to a more beautiful world, there’s an elevating positive energy and empowerment that grows.
As we face global chaos, I believe such small fields of coherence, connectedness and care become even more essential. They quietly feed us with vital nutrients to grow and serve through all that Life brings.
On 2 August at 9.30am (SGT), very near International Day of Friendship (30 July), two of my wonderful friends, Zhi Ying Wong and Vivien Tai will be joining me to share on zoom about the journey and joy of higher-purpose friendship so others can experience its magic.

12 years later, a 7 hour reunion. 🔆 Soul nour

12 years later, a 7 hour reunion.
🔆 Soul nourishment and Empowerment.
Those would be two words to capture the gifts from the conversation with Sonia Fevre, a client turned friend who left Singapore 12 years ago.
As we face so many crises in the world, especially one around leadership, the friendship with kindred spirits who are working towards a more caring, just, wiser world reminds me to own our heart-led leadership in our spheres of influence.
🔆 Handwritten, heartfelt, evolving message - In this photo, we are holding a book she gifted me with before she left. It’s precious because of her heartfelt, handwritten message in it.
In “The Restaurant of Love Regained” by Ito Ogawa, the chef of a little restaurant chooses the best ingredients and cooks up personalised meals for customers to touch their hearts. She likened it to the way I try to approach my service. This is such a gift we can give others - to See them deeply and let them know.
She wrote a second message on this night, 12 years after she wrote the first one. And this has the spirit of unity around a higher purpose. We are both “chefs” in our corners of the world, serving up from our hearts the most authentic offering we can to bring some joy and reduce suffering for others through our continual evolution.
These may seem like small efforts in the larger scheme of things. But when we (I mean the wider “we”, not just Sonia and I) do our best to be contemplative and heartful about what we do and who we are becoming, it is life-giving to ourselves and others.
Amidst the backdrop of a world in turmoil, this walk together felt deeply regenerative, collectively empowering, quietly transformational.
